Jason (Tsung Yen) Lu has a background in mechanical engineering with experience in start-up companies. Jason (Tsung Yen) worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Light, a multi-camera technology company, where they provided vendor on-site support and management. Jason spent significant time in China and Korea and gained expertise in piezo and auto focus module characteristics. Jason (Tsung Yen) was able to significantly improve yield rates from 50-60% to over 90%. Jason (Tsung Yen) also conducted product reliability verification for mass production. Jason's work was successful as the products were seen on the market. Prior to their role at Light, Jason worked at Actuator Solutions GmbH, a German start-up company specializing in the application of SMA technology. As the first employee, they designed and manufactured autofocus actuators using SMA technology. Jason (Tsung Yen) was also responsible for designing assembly jigs and testing jigs, as well as process planning.
Jason (Tsung Yen) Lu pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University from 2009 to 2011.
