Mariana Brazão currently holds positions at Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro, focusing on health education, and as a PhD student in Educational Sciences at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, exploring the impact of motivation on learning transfer in health education. Past experience includes serving as a research assistant at William James Center for Research and conducting research at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa as part of the SUGAR project. Mariana has also mentored through Teach For Portugal to address educational inequality, and held various roles including vice-president of the ANEP, president of NEPUÉ, and completed internships across educational and social organizations. Mariana's educational background includes a master's study in Social Psychology and Organizations, an advanced specialization in Crisis Intervention, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Évora.
