Cristiana Fonseca serves on the Board of Directors for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) since October 2018 and has been the Coordenadora de Departamento de Educação para a Saúde at Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro since January 1999, focusing on the development and monitoring of health education and cancer prevention projects. Additionally, Fonseca worked as a Psychologist at NovoEmpenho Centro Terapêutico from May 1999 to September 2020, providing psychotherapeutic support to children and adolescents. Educational qualifications include a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu in Health Literacy from Ispa - Instituto Universitário (2022), a Master’s degree in Health Education from FMUP, and a Licentiate degree in Psychology from Universidade do Porto (1999).
