Daniel Nugent is an experienced professional in health equity, economic mobility, and affordable housing development, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Management at Lift to Rise since November 2021. In this role, Daniel leads diverse teams, manages strategic partnerships, and presents to the Board of Directors, while also overseeing major funding initiatives such as Riverside County's $250 million emergency housing program. Previous roles include Project Lead for Orange County Government, Senior Manager at the National Association of Counties, and Senior Policy Advisor at NMAC, where Daniel focused on advocacy, legislative initiatives, and community health improvements. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.
