Samit Kundu is an accomplished professional in the fashion and retail industry with over 16 years of experience specializing in women's ethnic and Indian wear. Currently serving as Buying Head for Women's Ethnic Wear at Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd since July 2022, Samit is responsible for leading private label buying and merchandising for brands such as Melange and Essence by Melange. Previously, Samit held key positions at Reliance Retail and Soch Apparels Pvt. Ltd., focusing on fashion buying, consumer insights, and product development strategies. Samit's earlier career at Lifestyle International and Colorlines Clothing involved significant contributions to brand development and merchandising across various roles. Academically, Samit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Apparel Design from Bangalore University and an MBA in Retail Management from SMUDE, complemented by further training at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
