Katie Joy is an experienced occupational therapist currently working at Lifemark Health Group since September 2023, following a student placement that involved assessing clients and treatment planning in a chronic pain rehabilitation program. Previously, Katie completed multiple placements as a student occupational therapist with Alberta Health Services, focusing on acute adult psychiatry and functional assessments in acute care settings. In addition to a student role at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in pediatric outpatient care, Katie served as a laboratory assistant at the University of Alberta. With a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alberta, Katie has developed a strong foundation in occupational therapy practices. Early work experience includes positions in health care strategy at WCB-Alberta and various roles in the hospitality industry.
