Dixie Sumpter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industries. Currently serving as Manufacturing Manager at Lifeline Cell Technology since March 2019, Dixie has developed and implemented manufacturing procedures while training operators. Previously, as Scientist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific from October 2008 to 2017, Dixie was responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules for validation and verification builds. Dixie's career also includes roles at Life Technologies, where responsibilities included quality analysis and supervision of production staff. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Hood College and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University.
