Felipe Zipitría is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and infrastructure, currently serving as a Senior Engineer II in the Cloud Engineering Security Team at Life360 since April 2021. As a Project Co Leader for the OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set and a Senior Security Consultant for Tilsor's CSIRT, Felipe has contributed significantly to cybersecurity efforts for various organizations. In addition, Felipe has been a lecturer at the Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad de la República since 1999, where teaching and coordinating Computer Security courses is a primary focus. Previous roles include leading the Infrastructure Security Team at Perceptyx, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of security-related tasks, and serving as a Security Architect for Tilsor, developing an authentication protocol for the OLPC project in Uruguay. Felipe holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Security and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de la República.
