Mark Ater is an experienced professional in emergency services and healthcare coordination. Currently serving as an Organ Recovery Coordinator at Life Connection of Ohio since September 2022, Mark has extensive experience in public safety and emergency response, holding the position of Director of Public Safety/Emergency Services at Union City Police Department since March 2010. Prior roles include Critical Care Transport Paramedic at Careflight Air and Mobile, Paramedic at Fayette County Memorial Hospital, and Communications Specialist at Miami Valley Hospital. Mark's educational background includes a Paramedic degree from Miami Valley Career Technology Center, a Peace Officer degree from Clark State College, and completion of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. Mark graduated from Miami Trace High School in 2005.
