Mohamed Abukalish is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and public health. Currently serving as a National Professional Officer and consultant for the World Health Organization in Libya, Abukalish specializes in tuberculosis and HIV. Abukalish holds multiple roles, including Course Instructor and President of the Libyan Emergency Medicine Association, and Scientific Council Member with the African Federation for Emergency Medicine. Previous positions include Regional Medical Referent and Medical Activity Manager with Médecins Sans Frontières, and Emergency Medicine Specialist at Tripoli University Hospital. Abukalish has also contributed as a field doctor for Schlumberger and held several leadership roles in various health organizations focused on trauma care and public health awareness. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Emergency Medicine and a course in Global Health & Humanitarian Medicine.
