Josh Hadro currently holds the position of Program Analyst in the Digital Strategy Directorate at the Library of Congress since January 2024. In addition, Josh serves as a Visiting Associate Professor at Pratt Institute, teaching a core curriculum course on Library Information Technologies. Previously, as Managing Director of the International Image Interoperability Framework Consortium from November 2018 to December 2023, Josh coordinated various activities and strengthened the consortium's network. At The New York Public Library, Josh held multiple roles, including Associate Director of Digital Policy and Deputy Director of NYPL Labs and Reference and Research Services, overseeing a staff of 26 and managing access services departments. Earlier in a career at Library Journal, Josh advanced from Associate Editor to Executive Editor and worked as a Freelance Editor and Researcher. Josh earned a BA from Columbia University and an MS in Library & Information Science from Pratt Institute.
