Alexandru BITA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and banking. Since May 2006, Alexandru has served as the Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Libra Internet Bank, focusing on launching API-based digital products and driving diverse growth strategies while overseeing EBITDA. Previously, Alexandru held several key positions at Libra Internet Bank, including Senior Director and Head of eBusiness, where responsibilities included defining and executing digital strategies, and Branch Manager, where Alexandru enhanced community presence and built client relationships. Additionally, Alexandru is the Founder and Manager of LibraPay.ro, an online payment processing service, and has experience in corporate banking as a Corporate Relationship Manager at LIBRA BANK. Alexandru holds an Executive Education degree from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, and has studied at prestigious institutions such as École Polytechnique and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
