Jerry Carozza is an experienced legal and operational professional currently serving as Senior Surety Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance, focusing on the resolution of commercial surety claims on a national level. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer and of Counsel at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP, Jerry oversaw all operational facets of the firm across 13 offices in 9 states. With a substantial tenure at Selective Insurance from 2000 to 2023, Jerry held multiple leadership roles in Surety, Fidelity, and Cyber Claims. Jerry's military service includes a position as Colonel and Senior Legal Advisor to the Afghan National Army, where expertise in military law and international law was applied. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science, from Boston University.
