Lisa Saunders is an experienced education finance and operations professional, currently serving as the Finance and Operations School Lead at Liberty Academy Trust since June 2023. Previously, Lisa held the position of Director of Operations at Maiden Erlegh Trust from December 2018 to March 2023 and Director of Finance and Operations at Claycots School Partnership from August 2016 to December 2018, where responsibilities included managing a £6 million annual budget, overseeing HR functions, IT infrastructure, and catering for 1,800 pupils, as well as leading a £9 million school building extension project. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Business Manager at CfBT Education Services from August 2014 to August 2016, supporting multiple primary schools. Lisa holds an MBA in Education Leadership from the University of Roehampton and an AAT in Accounting and Finance from Kaplan.
