Syerra Turry currently serves as an Email Engagement Strategist for the Liberal Party of Canada, a position held since October 2023. Concurrently, Syerra is a Yoga Instructor at both Hero Yoga and MOVATI Athletic, and has been serving as a Studio Manager and Yoga and Dance Instructor at The Attic Yoga since October 2020. Previous experience includes roles such as Marketing Assistant with Bereaved Families of Ontario Midwestern Region, a member of the Summer Events Team at Waterloo Brewing, Dance Instructor at Stagecoach Children's Performing Arts – Kitchener And Waterloo, and Marketing and Communications Assistant for National Farmers Union - Ontario. Syerra has also gained journalism experience as a Reporter/Photographer for the Cambridge Times and Editor in Chief at Alternatives Media Inc. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Sociology from Trent University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Environmental Visual Communication from Fleming College, and an Advanced Diploma in Online, Print and Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College.
