Abel Alejandro Ibarra Padilla is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in credit, treasury, and operations management. Currently serving as Plant Controller and Americas Shared Service Manager at Libbey since September 2019, Abel oversees critical functions such as Credit and Collections, Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, and Billing to support the company's Working Capital strategy. Prior to this role, Abel was the ERP Regional Lead Americas, focusing on finance and operations implementation in Latin America. Previous experience includes various managerial positions at Crisa Libbey Mexico S de RL de CV and Libbey Glass Mexico, starting from 2006 and spanning different treasury, credit, and finance roles.
