Timothy DeBastos currently serves as the Head of NA Battery Development at LG Energy Solution, where responsibilities include leading the development of various battery engineering aspects, including pack, module, cell, testing and validation, and battery management systems. Prior to this role, Timothy worked as the ESS Battery Design Manager at Rivian. At LG Energy Solution from March 2019 to March 2022, Timothy held multiple positions, including Chief Engineer and Senior Manager for High Voltage Battery Pack & Modules, overseeing significant battery programs for PHEVs and BEVs. Previous experience includes a Director role at RLE International - USA, and various managerial positions at Ford Motor Company, where Timothy focused on electric vehicle business development, pricing strategies, and sustainability initiatives. Timothy holds an MBA in General Management from the University of Michigan and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.
