Hoyoung Jeong is the current Director at LG Display. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates from September 2014 to August 2018. There, they managed litigations and other disputes for multinational banks, Fortune 500 companies, and start-ups in federal and state courts. Their responsibilities included research and drafting motions and briefs, preparing relevant materials and evidence in preparation for depositions and interviews, managing discovery and productions for large internal investigations and SEC inquiries, attending depositions, witness interviews, and meetings with enforcement officials, researching and drafting internal memos on civil and criminal matters, providing M&A support, and participating in mediations and negotiating settlements.
Before their time at Skadden, Jeong worked as an Analyst at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. from October 2009 to August 2011.
Hoyoung Jeong graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Economics. Hoyoung then attended the University of Chicago Law School, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Law.
