Kevin Parks

Kevin Parks is an accomplished intellectual property attorney with over 18 years of experience at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd., specializing in trademark and copyright issues, particularly in music copyright and licensing. As a co-founder and partner at AC SoundTracker, LLC, Parks facilitates the collection of sound recording and neighboring rights performance royalties for labels and recording artists. Parks is also the founder and curator of the Country Music Goes to the Movies Archive, which documents the history of country music in film through a collection of over 500 unique items. Additionally, Parks served as an adjunct professor at UIC John Marshall Law School for 15 years, where a portable teaching module for music copyright and licensing was developed. Previously, Parks was the president of SOUNDIES, Inc., a music label and licensing agency specializing in 1940s music.
