Jet Damazo-Santos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in journalism and editing across Southeast Asia. Currently serving as a Correspondent for Southeast Asia at MLex Market Insight since July 2015, Jet covers key developments in antitrust and data protection. Additionally, as Consulting Editor at The Jakarta Post since February 2016, Jet leads digital projects and conducts workshops in various writing disciplines. Jet also plays a pivotal role as a Board Member at TinkerHouse Inc., an edutainment start-up focused on STEAM education in the Philippines. Previous positions include Indonesia bureau chief at Rappler, consultant at Control Risks, and Associate Editor at Jakarta Globe, where Jet managed digital platforms and editorial teams. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology Management from Ateneo de Manila University and a Master’s Degree in Applied Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
