Craig Granowitz serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and previously held the same position at Amarin Corporation. Granowitz has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having also served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Merck. Granowitz earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Columbia University from 1990 to 1993, and received medical education at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1986 to 1990.
