Jari Mäkelä is an experienced professional in the technology and digital banking sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Head of CoE Digital Channels at Nordea since December 2016. With a focus on enhancing operational efficiency through automation and data-driven approaches, Jari previously held multiple leadership positions at Nordea, including Vice President of Quality Assurance for Digital Banking. Prior experience includes key roles at Microsoft, where Jari was Director of Phones SW QA and Data Operations, and at Nokia, serving as Director of Application Quality and Delivery, among others. Jari holds a Master of Science in Telecommunication Technology from Tampere University of Technology.
