Laura Shiue has extensive experience in the media industry. Laura started their career at Carmichael Lynch in 1984, working as a Media Research Analyst/Planner for two years before being promoted to Media Research Supervisor. During their time at Carmichael Lynch, they developed the agency's first media research discipline and collaborated with Media, Research, and Account Planning departments.
In 1987, Laura joined Best Buy Company as the Director of Media. Laura successfully led the in-house media team and played a significant role in the company's growth from $30 million to $3 billion in annual revenue. Laura was responsible for building strong and flexible teams that could react quickly to market changes and contributed to Best Buy's quest to become the top-ranked electronics/appliance retailer in the country.
After leaving Best Buy, Laura worked as the Director of Media for Foley Sackett from 1994 to 2001, and then for The Foley Group from 2001 to 2006, respectively. Laura joined Level Brand in 2006, starting as the Director of Media Services before being promoted to VP, Strategic Marketing and Media in 2007. In their current role at Level Brand, Laura leads a creatively driven media team and focuses on finding the right audience and making meaningful connections for clients. Laura is known for solving complex marketing problems through smart engagement choices.
Laura Shiue attended the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Laura specialized in Advertising/Marketing during their time at the university.
