Kazan Glenn has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Level Access since March 2020. In this role, Kazan is actively involved in developing a new solution focused on web accessibility using AWS serverless technologies, React, and Material-UI.
Before joining Level Access, Kazan held various roles at Cartesian, A TMNG Global company, starting from August 2012 to March 2020. Initially, they worked as the Director of Solution Architecture and Innovation, where they focused on areas such as real-time streaming analytics, network expansion, and revenue assurance. Later, they took on the role of Director of Research and Development, where they designed and built an award-winning software suite used for revenue assurance and inter-operator provisioning in telecommunications companies across Europe. Lastly, Kazan served as the Head of Product Development, where they managed development activities and strategic technology decisions.
Prior to their time at Cartesian, Kazan worked as a Consultant on multiple projects in the UK and Europe. Some notable projects include work for Videotron, Comptel, Cable and Wireless, Ono, and Proximus.
Early in their career, Kazan worked as a Research Fellow at University College London from August 1994 to March 1997. In this role, they focused on research and software development for the recognition of dysfluent speech using neural network architectures and C libraries.
Overall, Kazan Glenn has extensive experience in solution architecture, innovation, research, technical sales support, and software development in the telecommunications and accessibility domains.
Kazan Glenn obtained a BSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Sussex from 1987 to 1990. Later, from 1992 to 1993, they pursued an MSc in Knowledge Engineering at the University of Westminster.
