Sapna Mukherjee is an accomplished optical engineer with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex optical systems. Currently serving as Team Leader of Optical Engineering at Leupold + Stevens, Inc., Sapna previously held the position of Senior Optical Systems Engineer at Allegro MicroSystems, where significant achievements included managing a multi-disciplinary team for a scanning LIDAR demonstration platform and driving improvements in InGaAs APD camera characterization. Prior roles include Senior Optical System Design Engineer at Voxtel Inc. and PhD researcher at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where innovative optical devices and imaging systems were developed. Educational credentials encompass a PhD in Optics/Optical Sciences, a Master of Photonics, and an MSc in Applied Photonics, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control.
