Timothy Takahashi is an accomplished professional in sports medicine and athletic therapy, currently serving as the Director and Founder of the Southern Alberta Acute Knee Injury Clinic since October 2016. As the Director of the U of L Sports Medicine Clinic and Rebound Health Centre and a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Kinesiology at The University of Lethbridge, Timothy provides education on the recognition and care of athletic injuries. With extensive experience as a Certified Athletic Therapist since 1998 and ownership of multiple physiotherapy clinics, Timothy is also a Doping Control Officer for the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport and a Certified Exercise Physiologist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Involvement with Alberta Health Services as a core committee member of the Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network highlights dedication to improving musculoskeletal care. Timothy's educational background includes a Master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from The University of Lethbridge.
