Angela Floro is a seasoned professional in special events and fundraising with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Special Events & Annual Giving at South Shore Health System since July 2016, Angela previously held positions such as Chair of the Board of Directors for the South Shore Conference For Women and Volunteer Director for Boston's Run to Remember, where key accomplishments included recruiting over 600 volunteers and enhancing event organization. Angela has also contributed to the Alzheimer's Association as a Senior Development Officer, where fundraising revenues significantly increased under management. With a strong background in event planning and community engagement, Angela has successfully collaborated with local businesses and sports teams, developed corporate wellness programs, and implemented strategic marketing initiatives throughout a diverse professional journey. Angela holds a degree from Bryant University and an internship experience at Fidelity Investments.
