Mohamad Abu Khalaf is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management, credit risk, and financial markets. Currently serving as Head of Treasury at Lesha Bank since November 2020, Mohamad specializes in liquidity management, asset-liability management, foreign exchange, fixed income, trading, and investments. Prior to this role, Mohamad held the position of Treasurer and Director of Credit Risk Management at Qatar Chemical and Pertochemical Marketing and Distribution Company (Muntajat) from April 2017 to November 2020, managing significant banking operations. Mohamad's tenure includes key roles at Central Bank of Jordan and Commercial Bank of Qatar, where expertise in asset-liability management and financial risk was developed. Educational achievements include an MSc in International Capital Markets from the University of Brighton and a degree from the Reading University ICMA Center, focusing on financial markets and securities valuation.
