Melinda Hughes is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a strong background in compliance and audit management. Since April 2018, Melinda has held various positions at Leonardo DRS, including Assistant Controller, Manager of Compliance, and Principal Accountant. Prior to this, Melinda worked at Concurrent Technologies Corporation from March 2004 to April 2018 as Government Liaison Lead, serving as a primary point of contact for audits by the Defense Contract Audit Agency. Earlier experience includes a role as an Auditor at the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense, and a Tax Intern position at Carpenter Financial Services. Melinda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, earned between 1998 and 2002.
