Maia Evans has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011. Maia worked as a Graphic Artist for Helvetiquette Designs from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Content Management Specialist at Stone Interactive Group, where they were a part time contractor and was responsible for the implementation of content, custom fitting and training for clients on joomla and wordpress sites, and organization of content, architecture, and page layout. In 2015, they worked as a Data Entry & Web Graphics Intern for Human Element Technology Consultants. In 2019, they returned to Human Element Technology Consultants as a Customer Success Engineer. Additionally, in 2020, Maia began working as an Ecommerce Manager for Leon Speakers and Co-Founder for Amplify Washtenaw, where they provide African-American musical artists and/or music-related artisans with the infrastructure to grow.

Maia Evans attended Washtenaw Community College from 2013 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Graphic Design.
