Delores Gaines has extensive experience in criminal justice and counseling, currently serving as a Probation & Pretrial Officer for Leon County Government since March 2006, where responsibilities include obtaining comprehensive pretrial release information for detainees. Prior positions include Independent Living & Outreach Counselor at Turner Job Corps, where Delores managed and documented the performance of over 150 students and implemented counseling programs that reduced emotional offenses, and Manager at Habitat for Humanity, overseeing staffing and personnel processes. Delores also has a background in law enforcement, having served as a Sergeant with the Leon County Sheriff's Department, where duties included training and performance management of officers and inmates. Delores holds an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Ashworth College.
