Daniel Elenius Madsen serves as the Head of Toxicology and Clinical Pharmacology and Principal Development Pharmacologist at LEO Pharma since November 2018. Madsen's extensive experience includes roles as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist in Global R&D and mentoring at Synapse - Life Science Connect from July 2017 to September 2020. Previously, Madsen worked at Novo Nordisk from September 2014 to November 2018 as a Senior Research Scientist and Talent Ambassador, with a focus on translational haemophilia pharmacology and project management. Madsen's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Southern Denmark, where research centered on C1-inh polymers in hereditary angioedema, along with previous positions at prestigious institutions such as UMC Utrecht and University Medical Center Utrecht. Madsen holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedicine from Syddansk Universitet.
