Amar Babu is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as President of Lenovo Asia Pacific since November 2007, Amar Babu leads the company's business operations across a diverse range of markets, including Japan, Korea, and South Asia, focusing on PCs, mobile devices, and data center infrastructure. Previously, Amar held roles such as Vice President and IDG Services Operations Leader, Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific, and ASEAN Regional General Manager at Lenovo. Prior to joining Lenovo, Amar Babu served as Managing Director at Idea Cellular Limited, Chief Service Delivery Officer at Intel India, and Country Manager at HCL Infosystems Ltd. With an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and a BE in Electrical & Electronics from PSG College of Technology, Amar Babu provides strategic leadership and operational expertise within the technology landscape.
