Shawn Wilson has been working in the financial industry for over 10 years. Shawn started their career as a member services representative at First Flight Federal Credit Union. Shawn then worked their way up to senior financial officer at SECU. In January 2013, they became the manager/CEO of Greater Kinston Credit Union, where they worked for six and a half years. Shawn is currently a trustee at Lenoir Community College.

Shawn Wilson attended the University of Mount Olive, where they earned their bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Organizational Development. Shawn also has an associate's degree from Lenoir Community College in their transfer program. Shawn is certified by FINRA in Series 66 and Series 7, and they are also certified by the NC Department of Insurance in NC Insurance Licenses: Personal Lines, Life, Accident and Health, and Medicare Gap and LTC.
