Marjolein Vandenbosch is a seasoned researcher currently working as a Promovenda at Leiden University since January 2024, focusing on Communicating Networks in High Conflict Divorces. Concurrently, Marjolein serves as an Onderzoeker on a project at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam concerning the effectiveness of a family-based trauma treatment for children affected by domestic violence. Marjolein's experience also includes a role as an Onderzoeksmedewerker at Kenter Jeugdhulp, where the focus is on developing guidelines for professionals working with parents of sexually abused children. Previous positions include various research roles at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, internship experiences in psychiatric research, and volunteer work with Eritrean refugees.
