Alexandra Engelen is a Product Manager at Leica Microsystems since December 2022, with a strong background in research and academia. Previously, Alexandra held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Medical University of Vienna from April 2016 to July 2021, where research focused on CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene deletion, ethics committee documentation, and manuscript preparation. Alexandra's experience includes a variety of roles such as Vice President of the Young Scientists Association, where event organization and marketing were key responsibilities, and several research assistant positions addressing autoimmune diseases and bacterial research at various institutions. Alexandra holds a PhD in Immunology and has a solid educational foundation in Medical Biology and Biology from Radboud University.
