Amar Kumar Pandey has been an advisor at LegitQuest since October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the additional director general of police in Karnataka from July 2019 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the state's law and order. Amar also served as the Inspector General of Police for the Southern Range in Mysore from March 2011 to June 2011. In this role, they were responsible for five districts: Mysore, Mandya, Madikeri, Chamrajnagar, and Hassan. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the Inspector General of Police for Internal Security. Amar also served as the Additional Director General of Police in Karnataka from May 2018 to February 2019. In this role, they were responsible for intelligence gathering for the state government.

Amar Kumar Pandey has a Ph.D in Enterprise Architecture in International Refugee Management from National Law School of India University. Amar also has an M.A in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Hansraj College.
