María Diez Zaera has a diverse work experience in the field of quality management and regulatory compliance.

María currently holds the position of Quality & Regulatory Director at Legit.Health since November 2022.

Prior to this, María worked at Genetracer Biotech from November 2021 to December 2022, where they served as the Quality & Regulatory Director. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and managing the Quality & Regulatory Department. María also implemented ISO 9001 Quality Management System and integrated it with other relevant regulations. María led the project to obtain various licenses and accreditations required for compliance.

Prior to joining Life Length, María worked at UCM in various research roles. María served as a Research Assistant from October 2010 to September 2011, conducting cell culture and studying axonal and dendritic growth. María was a PhD student from September 2005 to October 2010, working with mouse models and performing pharmacological therapy. María started their research career at UCM as a Research Trainee from July 2003 to August 2005, where they conducted cell culture and determined cell viability through trypan blue staining.

Lastly, María had a brief experience as a Visiting Scientist at the Institut für Zellbiologie und Neurowissenschaft, Neurochemie from September 2008 to December 2008. María was involved in primary cell culture and conducted studies on axonal and dendritic growth.

María Diez Zaera's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. María completed their undergraduate studies in Biology and obtained a Licenciada degree in 2005. Following their bachelor's degree, María continued their academic journey and pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the same university from 2006 to 2010, specializing in Biochemistry.
