Sarah Johnson, Ph.D., MBA has a rich and diverse work experience spanning various roles in business development and technology licensing. Sarah is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Legend Biotech, a position they started in 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager, Business Development at Aro Biotherapeutics from 2020 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, Sarah worked as a Licensing Manager in the Office of Applied Innovation at Drexel University. Before that, they served as a Technology Licensing Officer at the Penn Center for Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania from 2015 to 2017. Sarah also gained valuable experience at Princeton University, where they worked in different capacities, including as a University Administrative Fellow in the Office of Technology Licensing and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2010. Sarah began their research career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Wistar Institute in 2007. Throughout their career, Sarah has consistently demonstrated their expertise and dedication to the fields of business development and technology commercialization.

Sarah Johnson, Ph.D., MBA, completed their Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2010. Sarah then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at Princeton University from 2010 to 2015. Recently, from 2019 to 2022, Sarah obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
