James Lee has substantial work experience in the legal industry, with a specific focus on trial and litigation. James is the CEO and Co-Founder of LegalMation, a company that utilizes artificial intelligence to automate litigation tasks. James was recognized as a Legal AI Leader by the National Law Journal in 2018. Prior to their role at LegalMation, James worked as a Trial and Litigation Attorney and Co-Founder at LTL ATTORNEYS LLP, where they specialized in resolving intellectual property and business disputes. James successfully represented clients in various high-stakes cases, including a trademark infringement lawsuit brought by Lush Cosmetics. James also gained experience as an Associate at Quinn Emanuel and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where they focused on IP and general business disputes.

James Lee attended the University of Southern California from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Following this, they attended Stanford University Law School from 1994 to 1997, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
