Matteo Pistillo is a seasoned professional in AI governance and legal frameworks, currently serving as a Senior AI Governance Researcher at Apollo Research since September 2024. Prior to this role, Pistillo was an AI Governance Research Scholar at the Institute for Law & AI, focusing on legal and regulatory challenges related to frontier AI systems. Experience as an AI Governance Fellow involved collaborative exploration of AI risks, while prior work at Stanford University as a Fulbright Scholar concentrated on technology regulation and policy.
