Fatimatou Barry has extensive work experience in various roles. Fatimatou is currently working as a Bilingual Client Service Specialist at Legal Aid Ontario, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Activator at SheEOâ„¢, a global initiative supporting women-led Ventures working on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Before joining SheEOâ„¢, Fatimatou worked as a Support Coordinator at Africans in Partnership Against AIDS from June 2010 to August 2022. Previously, they worked as a Bilingual Client Care Representative at Morneau Shepell from April 2007 to May 2010. Fatimatou'smain responsibilities included responding to client requests and providing information about Shepell's services.
Furthermore, Fatimatou gained valuable experience working at the 16th International AIDS Conference Secretariat as an International Bilingual Host & VISA Advocate Officer from April 2006 to August 2006. In this role, they provided translation and interpretation services to the French-speaking community, assisted with visa support services, and advocated for prospective conference attendees.
Through their diverse work experiences, Fatimatou has developed strong communication and client service skills, as well as a passion for supporting women-led Ventures and advocating for marginalized communities.
Fatimatou Barry completed their Associate's Degree in Tourism Promotion Operations from the Community College of Philadelphia from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Business Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, from 2001 to 2003. The field of study for their Bachelor's degree is not specified.
