Tahmina Begum is an experienced educator currently serving as the Global 1 & Psychology Lead Teacher at Legacy College Preparatory Charter School, focusing on 9-12 grade students and dedicated to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments. In addition to teaching, Tahmina is a Beauty Committee team member, coordinating school decor for events. With a background in event planning, Tahmina has successfully orchestrated various events as a freelance planner since 2019. Previous roles include contributing to DEI initiatives at Public Preparatory Network, teaching Earth Science and Physics at the middle school level, and leading elementary Life Sciences instruction. Tahmina's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree with a dual major in Psychology and English Literature, complemented by a minor in Africana studies from Lehman College.
