Laura Duncan Kimball is an experienced educator with a focus on early childhood development. Currently serving as a Preschool Teacher at Legacy Academy Early Child Care & Educational Excellence since March 2019, Laura specializes in caring for infants aged 6-12 months, leveraging strengths in calmness and adaptability to create a supportive environment for both children and parents. Previous roles include serving as an Assistant at Alamance Christian School, where Laura developed classroom management skills, and as a School Counselor at B. Everett Jordan Elementary School, providing guidance to K-5 students. Additional experience encompasses counseling internships and summer camp counseling roles, showcasing a consistent commitment to fostering children's growth and well-being. Laura holds a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Duke University.
