Kevin Lin's work experience includes roles at various companies. Kevin began their career at Caterpillar Inc. in 2015 as an Analytics Practicum, where they worked on optimizing and investigating part builds and built an Android app to improve supervisor efficiency. In 2016, they interned at Capital One as a Software Development Intern, working on a Self-Serve Campaign web app and an Amazon Alexa/Echo skill. Kevin also worked as a CS 374 Course Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016 and again in 2018, aiding discussion sections and grading assignments.

In 2017, Kevin had a Software Engineering Internship at Microsoft, where they established an offline data processing pipeline for Calendar. Help. Kevin then joined Caterpillar Inc. again in 2017 as an Analytics Practicum, creating a proof-of-concept Android app that interfaced with OBDII to get real-time vehicle data.

From 2018 to 2020, Kevin worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a Security Researcher Assistant Staff, designing a malware sequence dataset and analyzing time series data for various applications. Kevin also joined IsoPlexis in 2020 as a Bioinformatics Software Developer, working on developing single-cell protein sequencing software and improving chip imaging procedures.

In 2022, Kevin joined Verily as a Software Engineer, and in 2023, they became the CTO and Co-Founder of LEGACI.

Kevin Lin attended Centerville High School from 2010 to 2014 where they obtained a High School Diploma with Honors. From 2014 to 2018, they studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Computer Science and Psychology. In addition, they have obtained certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft and a Real Estate Salesperson License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
