Michael Edwards is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovative infrastructure development. As the Executive Director and Founding Partner at Gascoyne Gateway Limited since December 2019, Michael focuses on economic stimulation in regional communities. In addition to serving as a Governor at the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation and Director of Thanardinyunguhu Pty Ltd, Australia's first Indigenous owned maritime services company, Michael also holds the title of Founding Director at Oropesa Assets Pty Ltd, specializing in solutions for the Defence industry. Michael's diverse experience includes winemaking at bakkheia, co-founding the Navy Clearance Diver Trust, and holding leadership positions in the RAN Clearance Divers Association. Previous military experience as a Clearance Diver and Naval Officer with the Royal Australian Navy further complements Michael's expertise.
