Marcelo Z. has over two decades of experience in analytics and engineering, currently serving as VP of Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement at Lee Health since February 2011, following roles as System Director Process Analytics and Operations Improvement Engineer. Prior to this, Marcelo Z. worked as a Project Manager at PMC from 2002 to June 2011 and held a consulting assignment with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan between 2005 and 2006 as an Operations Engineer. Additionally, Marcelo Z. was a Simulation Engineer during a consulting assignment with Chrysler from 2003 to 2005 and a Material Logistics Analyst at Ford Motor Company from 1998 to 2000. Marcelo Z. holds a Master's in Health Informatics from the University of South Florida, a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering from the same institution, complemented by education from the University of Buenos Aires and Instituto Politecnico Bunge y Born.
