Jerome Lavigne has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Jerome started their career with an internship at Ford Electronics in 1995. After that, they worked as an Automation Engineer at Visteon Canada Inc. from 1998 to 2002, where they supported, improved, and upgraded automated electronics production lines. In 2003, Jerome became a Principal Engineer at Lavigne Systems Engineering, where they worked until 2012.

From 2012 to 2019, Jerome held various positions at Callisto Integration, including Team Lead, Senior Program Manager, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Senior Director of IoT Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for project delivery, driving software development standards, and leading account teams. Jerome also took on interim roles to drive critical internal projects and was responsible for HR and IT groups.

From 2018 to 2021, Jerome worked at Canvass Analytics as the Director of Engineering and later as a Team Lead in Software Development. During their time there, they focused on scaling Canvass Analytics' AI/ML platform and enabling high-performing teams. In addition, they worked on bringing data-driven technologies to plants and factories worldwide.

Currently, Jerome is employed at Clearco as a Staff Engineer since 2021, and they will start working at Ledgebrook as a Staff Engineer from May 2023.

Jerome Lavigne completed their Honours Electrical Engineering degree at McGill University from 1993 to 1997. Then, from 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Certificate in Software Engineering from The University of British Columbia.

In addition to their formal education, Jerome also has several certifications. In 2002, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from both Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC). Furthermore, in December 2017, they completed the "Data Visualization Tips and Tricks," "Learning Visual Studio Team Services," and "Measuring Business Performance" certifications from Lynda.com.
