Product Manager at LearnWorlds

Theodora Boukoura has a diverse work experience. Theodora started their professional career in 2018 as a Trainee at The European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), Thornton Group. During this time, they focused on studying the structural context of de novo missense variants and developed a software using Python to map these variants on CATH protein superfamilies. Theodora also incorporated information regarding interactions, conservation, solvent accessibility, and data from the gnomAD database for each protein position. Additionally, they enabled the visualization of this information on CATH superfamilies in PyMOL.

In 2019, Theodora joined LearnWorlds as a Customer Service Representative. Theodora held this role until 2020, gaining valuable experience in handling customer inquiries and providing excellent service. From 2020 to 2021, they transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance Engineer at LearnWorlds, where they ensured the quality and functionality of the software products.

Continuing their growth within the company, Theodora became a Junior Product Manager at LearnWorlds in 2021. In this role, they gained valuable experience in product management and contributed to the development and implementation of product strategies. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager, starting in 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing the overall product development and driving innovation within the organization.

Theodora Boukoura completed their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace from 2013 to 2018. Theodora then pursued a Master's degree in Integrated Product Design & Innovation at the University of the Aegean from 2022 to 2025. Additionally, they attended the Psychological Studies Laboratory (EPSYME) in Alexandroupolis from 2022 to 2027, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. Theodora also participated in various educational trips and summer schools, such as The 2017 Lectures in Computer Science organized by the Onassis Foundation, the 6th WHBA Summer School, and an educational trip organized by Corallia in April 2015.
