Seth Johnson has extensive experience in customer experience, customer success, and support roles. Seth currently works at LearnUpon as the VP of Customer Experience, where they lead teams focused on onboarding, success, support, and community + documentation for LearnUpon's learning management system. Prior to that, Seth worked at Lucid as the Vice President of Customer Success. Before that, they worked at Instructure in various leadership roles, including Senior VP of Customer Experience, VP of Customer Experience, VP of Customer Success, and VP of Support & Community. Seth also has experience in Director-level roles at eHarmony.com, thereNow, LLC, Spectrum Research, Evaluation & Development (SpectrumRED), and Restoration Hardware. Seth began their career as a CRM/Instruction Consultant at Buena Vista Datacasting and also worked as an Instruction/Information Specialist at the same company. Seth's earlier experience includes a role as a Production Manager at Convergys.
Seth Johnson completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University, attending from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in English - Professional & Technical Writing from the same university, attending from 1996 to 2002.
In addition to their formal education, Seth Johnson has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn. In May 2023, they completed a certification titled "Powerless to Powerful: Taking Control." Furthermore, in September 2022, they obtained a certification called "Jeff Weiner on Leading like a CEO."
